The Checklist

This is a step-by-step checklist of the science-backed criteria needed to achieve remission from complex chronic illnesses. It includes the consistently most successful therapies and findings of those at the cutting edge and leading the way in the science of healing complex modern diseases – including: Dr. Robert Naviaux, Dr. Stephen Porges, Dr. Derrick Lonsdale, Dr. Max Gerson, Dr. Jack Kruse, and Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker.

When you complete these steps sequentially – the mitochondria and cells regain optimal function and downregulate and upregulate the necessary genes for healing, regeneration and remission. This is not intended to explain the science but work as a reference to the criteria for recovery.

PHASE 1 : REDUCE THE BURDEN

The first critical phase of fully activating the body’s innate healing mechanisms is to lower the burden on the body as much as possible. It is intentional and key that this phase comes first.

STEP 1: ADDRESS EXTERNAL BURDENS

Clean low burden food, water, air, light and frequencies.

  • Clean food: No synthetics, GMOs, inorganic or artificial foods. And nuts, seeds, grains and legumes must be sprouted and/or fermented (preferably both as in 100% sprouted grain bread).
  • Clean water: Filtered spring water is best.
  • Clean air: Try not to live where outdoor air quality is less than good. As far as indoors – HEPA filters are very expensive for the small amount of benefit they give. Cracking or opening windows when the outside air is low in humidity and close to room temperature is a much more effective and affordable way to improve indoor air quality. Also don’t forget to build the following habits:
    • Do laundry regularly
    • Take trash out quickly
    • Vacuum carpets regularly (HEPA filters on vacuums are very helpful to prevent stiring up mycotoxins when vacuuming carpets!)
    • Avoid living in homes with new or old carpets.
    • Avoid living in new dwellings (give at least 1 year to off gas)
    • Try not to buy new furniture
    • Keep humidity below 50% indoors (this is easy in winters but requires running the AC with fan on auto in humid areas)
  • Clean light: Replace LEDs with incandescent bulbs. They are harder to find but can be found. Shoot for 60 watt and a very yellow 2200 Kelvin. You will adjust and it is wonderful. Open sunny windows when weather permits. Avoid being directly in sunlight filterd by glass. Turn off all screens at sunset. (there is no limit to the amazing things you’ll do when you practice screen abstenance)
  • Native frequencies: Make your home a sanctuary from non native EMFs. Hardwire your home rather than WiFi. Keep your phone away from your body. Do not use your phone or laptop when charging. In an ideal world your home would have a large enough lot to not be bombarded by neighboring WiFi. Try to avoid living in apartment complexes. Unfortunately you may never recover if your home or work environment has elevated levels of non native EMF.

STEP 2: ADDRESS EXTERNAL SIGNALS

Stress and autonomic triggers.

STEP 3: ADDRESS GUT MOTILITY

Reabsorbing and recycling toxins adds unecessary burdens to the cells and detoxification pathways of the body. Furthermore, the bowels are the exit route of fat soluble toxins and needs to be quick enough and regular enough to prevent reabsorbing the burdening biotoxins and endotoxins that are produced by the microbiome. If motility is slow or irregular consider:

  • Leafy Greens, Avocado, Sweet Potato, Banana, Coconut Water, and Unfortified Nutritional Yeast.
  • Magnesium
  • Potassium

STEP 4: ADDRESS BILE FLOW

Clean low burden food, water, air, light and frequency.

STEP 5: ADDRESS INTERNAL BURDENS

Infections, parasites, overgrowths and dysbiosis.

STEP 6: ADDRESS INTERNAL SIGNALS

Myofacial release and breathework.

  • Begin a daily practice of myofascia release via long static stretches of 15-30 minutes (Yin Yoga) with breathwork.

STEP 6: ADDRESS EXTERNAL SIGNALS

Stress and autonomic triggers.

PHASE 2

RECHARGE THE CELL

STEP 7: SUNLIGHT BY DAY (MITOCHONDRIAL MELATONIN)

STEP 8: DARKNESS BY NIGHT

Evening darkness drops cortisol and absolute nightime darkness is critical to melatonin synthesis in the pineal gland.

  • No blue light from screens or LEDs after sunset. Only single dimable (by knob) lamp with amber / low kelvin (2200) incandescent bulb per room – from sunset to bedtime.
  • Sleep in absolute darkness.

STEP 9: GROUNDING BY DAY AND NIGHT

Apoptosis, autophagy, mitophagy

STEP 10: NATURAL INTERMITANT FASTING

STEP 11: CREATINE THERAPY

STEP 12: ADDRESS ELECTOLYTE AND MINERAL LEVELS
